Peak 15 Manaslu Base Camp: Your home for next one month.

Base Camp is run by Peak 15 Adventure Company as a safe place for climbers. As the main staging location for climbers before to attempting their summit, base camp is an essential component of any high-altitude trip. It offers safety, medical assistance, and a secure setting for acclimatization. Peak 15 Manaslu Expedition Time Line:

Beginning of September: 

After reaching Kathmandu, Nepal, climbers accomplish administrative duties and finalize their permits. After that, they take the trekking route and travel via Besi Shahar to reach the Manaslu Base Camp.

The Sherpa team of Peak 15 Adventure’s configure the Base Camp. After establishing Base Camp, the expedition crew starts acclimatization. To set up tents in each camp, sherpa guides will begin with a slow climb to higher camps.

Climbing and Acclimatization, In order to acclimate, there are several rotations between Base Camp and upper camps throughout this time. Additionally, climbers get ready for the last push to the peak.

Climbing Guide Ratio: BC- Summit

1. One guid per client : For new climbers in particular, a 1:1 guide-to-client ratio is the safest and most efficient choice for the summit day.

Note: Peak 15 Adventure strongly advises clients to have a climbing guide; the Nepali government also enforces this rule.

Standard Oxygen Ratio:

1. For the duration of the expedition, it is generally advised that each person consume 3–4 bottles (4 liters each). This covers the time spent at higher camps and the summit day.

Peak 15 Manaslu expedition Climbing Rotation

Base Camp (4,600 meters / 15,091 feet): After beautiful trek through Manaslu region and lakrya pass . You will reach to basecamp in 10 days. Once you reached to Basecamp of Peak15 your journey begins, with essential preparations and acclimatization taking place to help climbers adjust to the mountain environment.

Camp 1 (approx. 5,700 meters / 18,700 feet): A 4–5-hour ascent from Base Camp, where climbers establish the first high camp amidst glacier crossings and steep slopes. This is a critical point for acclimatization.

Camp 2 (approx. 6,400 meters / 21,000 feet): Located at the “French Col,” this camp is a 4–6 hour climb from Camp 1. Climbers often spend additional time here for acclimatization before continuing their ascent.

Camp 3 (approx. 6,800 meters / 22,310 feet): Situated on a narrow ridge, this camp is a 4–5 hour climb from Camp 2. Climbers prepare for the final summit push, dealing with technical challenges and harsh conditions.

Camp 4 (approx. 7,300 meters / 23,950 feet): Known as “C4,” this is the final camp before the summit push. The duration from Camp 3 to Camp 4 can vary, typically ranging from 7–8 hours, depending on the climber’s pace and acclimatization. Climbers usually spend a short time here—often just a few hours—to rest and prepare for the final summit attempt.

Summit (8,163 meters / 26,781 feet): The ultimate ascent begins from Camp 4, navigating treacherous terrain and unpredictable weather to reach the pinnacle of the mountain.
