Since 2014, licensed trekking guide Shekhar Tamang has been leading adventurers through Nepal’s most spectacular trails, from the iconic Everest Base Camp to the remote Kanchenjunga region. With over 1,000 successful treks under his belt, Shekhar has mastered the challenging high passes of the Himalayas, including all three major passes of the Everest region—Kongma La, Cho La, and Renjo La.

Based in Kathmandu but born in the hills of Nuwakot, Shekhar combines his mountain heritage with professional guiding expertise to create safe, memorable trekking experiences. His extensive knowledge of the Himalayan trails, first aid certification from the Nepal Mountaineering Association, and deep understanding of local cultures make him an invaluable companion for any Himalayan adventure.
