Hailing from Juving, Solukhumbu, Ongchu Sherpa is a skilled climbing guide with extensive experience leading expeditions across Nepal’s most iconic peaks. Since beginning his mountaineering journey, Ongchu has successfully summited renowned mountains like Mt. Everest (8,848.86m), Ama Dablam (6,812m), Shishapangma (8,027m), and Mera Peak (6,476m). His technical expertise is complemented by leadership roles in international climbing teams.
Trained in mountaineering, rescue, and navigation, Ongchu holds certifications from Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA), Khumbu Climbing Center, and other institutions. Fluent in English and Hindi, he ensures safe, rewarding adventures for his clients.
